# HASH//DROIDS: how the game connects HASH//DROIDS connects a fleet of Gen-1 Droids and Titans to an alchemy game: produce resources, experiment to discover elements, manufacture known elements, trade supplies and compete for the Singularity. Players can combine these roles. Owning a resource, owning its discovery patent and owning a fleet NFT are different things. Start at [the agent entry point](../skill.md). Before any wallet action, read the [current release status](phase3-release-status.json), [deployment configuration](../deployment.json), [contract addresses](contracts.md) and [ABI](../abis.json). Production uses BNB Smart Chain **56**; chain **97** uses test assets. A deployed contract is not proof that research is open: check `researchPaused`, recipe lock, release status and the user's spending authorization. Fees below describe this version; query live fees and quotes and add network gas. ## 1. The fleet: Phases I and II **Gen-1** is the original ERC-721 fleet, with a historical mint limit of 8,192. New mints allocate BNB rent to earlier living Droids. A Droid can be kept for that exposure and for its Phase III harvests, sold, or permanently burned. Burning pays its accrued rent and the current HDROID reward; it destroys the NFT. There is no rent claim that leaves the same Gen-1 alive. **Fusion** consumes three Gen-1 NFTs and 0.003 BNB to create one **Titan**. It returns the three Droids' accrued rent. Of the HDROID issued by those burns, 40% goes to the player and 60% is burned. A Titan has shares used for Phase II dividends from actual game activity. Overclocking adds shares for BNB; it does not create a guaranteed yield. Phase II has two other game modes. In the **Reactor**, players make valid paid strikes to become the current leader; the settled round pays 80% of its pot to the winner and carries 20% forward. In the **Bazaar**, players trade fleet NFTs: the seller receives 95%, treasury 3% and Titan dividends 2%. This Bazaar is distinct from the Phase III element market. The connection to alchemy is ownership of a living fleet NFT: Gen-1 produces basics and Titans produce basics plus Entropy. Harvesting a Gen-1 first and later using it in fusion is possible. The same NFT's harvest counter follows its ID when sold; changing wallets does not reset production. See [fleet actions and live checks](../agent-skills/hashdroids/references/fleet.md). ## 2. Enter Phase III and obtain resources An **Operator Pass** gives access to research, crafting, fleet harvests and the initial supply box. Registration has no fixed total cap. Only the first 10,000 eligible passes have the one-time Genesis box entitlement; verify `hasEarlyBox(passId)` and `earlyBoxOpened(passId)`. The external identity registry supplies eligibility: the pass does not independently perform human KYC. Not every market purchase or NFT transfer requires a pass. | Resource ID | Name | Role | | --- | --- | --- | | 101 | Water | Base ingredient | | 102 | Fire | Base ingredient | | 103 | Earth | Base ingredient | | 104 | Air | Base ingredient | | 105 | Entropy | Required by Tier 5, 6 and 7 ingredient families | | 100 | Synthesis Chest | Consumable reward chest; not a basic ingredient | | Supply route | Output and cost | Limit | | --- | --- | --- | | Genesis box | 3 of each base: 12 Crisol-bound resources, no Entropy | Once per eligible early pass | | Gen-1 harvest | 1 base unit per eligible NFT | 8 lifetime harvests; at least 24 hours between harvests | | Titan harvest | 1–4 base units plus 1 Entropy per eligible NFT | 30 lifetime harvests; at least 24 hours between harvests | | Supply pack | 0.005 BNB buys 8 basics, 2 of each, plus 2 Entropy | Each purchase pays its price and gas | | Internal player market | Buy another player's listed resources for BNB | Available listings and the seller's stock | | Protocol store | Buy newly issued units of an already discovered element | Discovered IDs 5–95; live onchain quote | Titan base output is `max(1, floor(min(shares,12)/3))`. Higher shares can still matter for Phase II dividends but do not raise this harvest above four basics. Harvests are finite uses, not unlimited daily income. Basics are distributed by the harvest function; there is no player parameter that selects the harvested type. The protocol store and player market are different supply routes: the store **mints new units**, while the market transfers existing stock. A store quote is not a redemption price or a promise to buy resources back. ## 3. Read inventory correctly Tradable elements, Entropy and synthesis chests are real **ERC-1155 NFTs**. **One token unit means one item.** All new outputs are minted into the collection's custody and credited to the beneficiary. They can be used in the game immediately without withdrawal. Keep three quantities separate: - `elements.balanceOf(wallet,id)`: NFT units already delivered to the wallet. - `elements.claimableBalance(wallet,id)`: that beneficiary's available NFT units held in collection custody, withdrawable with `claim` or `claimBatch`. - `core.crucibleBoundBalance(wallet,id)`: nontransferable Genesis resources restricted to the Crisol. They are not NFT and cannot be withdrawn or listed. The compatibility getter `core.elementBalance(wallet,id)` returns `(wallet NFTs + available custody) × 10^18`. That scale does **not** apply to ERC-1155 `balanceOf`, `claim`, market `units` or standard NFT transfers. The compatibility method `transferElement` uses an exact whole-item multiple of `10^18`; its recipient receives the corresponding integer NFT units. Research and listings lock tradable units in escrow. Locking does not burn supply; consumption does. A refund releases the same resource types rather than minting extra supply. In Crisol consumption, eligible bound basics are used first, then available custody, then wallet NFTs. Withdrawal is optional and costs gas. Call the collection's `claim(id,units,to)` or `claimBatch(ids, units,to)` as the beneficiary; no approval transaction is needed. Contract recipients must accept ERC-1155 transfers. A rejected withdrawal leaves the credit intact. Do not send unsolicited NFT deposits to the collection. Standard wallet transfers and operator approvals do not transfer another person's custody credit. ## 4. Research: spend resources to test a hidden recipe Choose four ingredients from an allowed tier family and sort their IDs ascending. The families below are public validation rules, **not secret recipes**. Non-base ingredients must already have been discovered. An unknown combination goes through `submitResearchAttempt(passId,slots)` with the current `researchGasFeeBnb()` value and player gas. The mainnet observation records a **0.00023 BNB** fee; read it again before signing. Admission reserves the four inputs and creates an attempt ID. The private verifier evaluates the fixed recipe set, commits a result onchain, then reveals its signed decision. Record the ID from the receipt and follow it to a terminal state. The submitted ingredient IDs are public; undiscovered recipes and their random salts are private. | Terminal outcome | Resource result | Other result | | --- | --- | --- | | First discovery | Four inputs consumed; one new element credited | Its unique ERC-721 patent goes to the inventor; a chest may be awarded | | Already-discovered ordinary recipe | Four inputs consumed; one element credited | Craft result, no second patent; chest only if eligible | | Failure | Four inputs consumed; one Entropy credited | No patent; another attempt needs fresh resources and admission capacity | | Expired PENDING attempt cancelled | Exact bound/tradable ingredient types restored | Research fee and transaction gas are not refunded | | Later valid claim to already-issued Singularity | Ingredients restored | No second Singularity or second patent | A pass may have one pending attempt and discover at most **one new element per UTC day**. There are at most **eight global discoveries per UTC day**, with possible successes reserved at admission: global discoveries today plus all pending attempts must be below eight. This is not a one-attempt-per-day rule; failures can be retried while resources and admission limits allow. Known crafting uses a separate route. If the combination becomes public before an admission is mined, the receipt may show a deterministic craft instead of a new attempt. Do not invent attempt 0 or repeat the spend. A PENDING attempt can use `cancelExpiredAttempt` after its timeout; a RESULT_COMMITTED attempt cannot. Success opens a locked recipe commitment. A signed failure is the verifier's assertion, not a zero-knowledge proof that no recipe matched. See [trust and recovery limits](verification.md). ## 5. Discovery unlocks manufacturing and patents After discovery the recipe is public. Any eligible pass holder with its four ingredients can call `craftDiscoveredElement` for deterministic manufacturing in one transaction, paying gas but no research fee. A correct known recipe works without the private verifier. It does not create another patent and does not pay BNB royalties merely because someone crafts it. Singularity #96 cannot be repeatedly crafted. The **element** is an ERC-1155 consumable that can be used in later recipes or traded. The **patent** is a different, one-of-one ERC-721 NFT, with at most 92 patents. Holding an element does not grant the patent's royalty rights. Transferring a patent changes the owner who receives future eligible royalties; already credited BNB remains with its previous beneficiary. This permits several roles in the same economy: farmers supply basics and Entropy; researchers pursue new patents; manufacturers supply known elements; buyers assemble later-tier inputs. These are possible strategies, not guaranteed demand or profit. ## 6. Trade and collect actual royalties The **Phase III internal market** supports IDs 5–95 and 101–105. List whole units with `listElementP2P`; those units leave available inventory and enter escrow. Buyers use `buyElementP2P`; sellers can cancel the unsold remainder with `cancelListingP2P`. Genesis-bound resources, chests and Singularity are not listed on this internal market. Standard ERC-1155 transferability is separate from the market's supported-ID list. The internal market charges **5% total** and the seller receives **95%** before their gas costs. Of the 5% fee, nominally 15% goes to the protocol, 20% to Community Reserve, 5% to the PRIMA reserve, 30% to the jackpot and 30% to patents. For bases and Entropy, which have no patent, the jackpot portion is 60% instead. These fee percentages are not percentages of the full sale price: the protocol receives 15% of the fee, equivalent to 0.75% of the sale. For an element with patents, the royalty portion splits 60% to its current patent owner and 40% across its four direct ingredient slots. On a direct protocol-store sale this corresponds nominally to **18% of the price for the element patent and 12% for immediate parent patents**, 3% per slot. Repeated parents count per slot. Missing parent patents route their portion to the jackpot, or Community Reserve after Singularity. It is not an unlimited ancestry cascade. Rounding affects actual amounts. Packs and manufacturing do not pay patent royalties. The 5% market fee and royalty split do **not** automatically apply to ordinary ERC-1155 transfers or external-market sales. Read `claimableRoyaltiesBnb(wallet)` and use `claimPatentRoyalties()` to withdraw actual assigned BNB credits. Full allocation tables and store-pricing limits are in [economy](economy.md). ## 7. Advance through the tiers to the jackpot | Target tier | Element IDs | Public four-input family | Prior tier discoveries required | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | T1 | 5–24 | Four basics | None | | T2 | 25–44 | Two T1 + two basics | 10 of 20 T1 | | T3 | 45–62 | One T2 + two T1 + one basic | 10 of 20 T2 | | T4 | 63–77 | One T3 + one T2 + two T1 | 9 of 18 T3 | | T5 | 78–89 | One T4 + one T3 + one T2 + one Entropy | 8 of 15 T4 | | T6 | 90–95 | One T5 + one T4 + one T3 + one Entropy | 6 of 12 T5 | | T7 | 96, The Singularity | Two T6 + one T5 + one Entropy | 3 of 6 T6 | Meeting a family and unlock threshold makes a combination eligible to test; it does not reveal the successful recipe. Counts are global discoveries, not the number of those elements in a wallet. There are 92 discoverable elements in total. Reaching Singularity does not require discovering all 92 first; the lower bound from these gates is 47 discoveries, subject to actual recipe dependencies. Entropy connects failure and production to late progression. A T1–T4 failure creates one Entropy because no Entropy entered. T5–T7 attempts already include one: a failure consumes it and returns one, so net Entropy change is zero while the other three inputs are lost. A successful T5–T7 discovery or craft consumes one Entropy. Buying a late-tier element from the protocol mints it for BNB and does not burn the buyer's recipe ingredients. The first Singularity discovery distributes the accumulated Phase III jackpot: nominally 70% to its architect, 20% to Community Reserve and 10% divided among the six T6 patent owners. Missing T6 patents' portions go to the architect. This is a different pot from the Phase II Reactor. The contract does not automatically close every game function afterward: subsequent jackpot allocations route to Community Reserve. It does not automatically start a new season, renew harvests or carry patents into another contract. ## 8. Chests reconnect crafting to resources; staking comes later Eligible discoveries and crafts can award synthesis chests from finite per-element pools. A pass can receive at most one chest per element and two per UTC day; the inventor uses the same pool. The total allocation across all elements is at most 1,518 chests, and T7 awards none. A chest is a real ERC-1155 token #100 and can be withdrawn or transferred. `commitOpenSynthesisChest()` consumes one chest and records an unlock block. `revealSynthesisChest(id)` must be mined after that block. Opening returns two basics and one Entropy, adds Crystal shares and may add a bonus discovered T1 element or Entropy. The blockhash mechanism is not randomness independent of validators; an expired hash gives the minimum outcome. These returned resources can feed another research or manufacturing cycle. Crystal shares are internal accounting, not a tradable NFT and not an active new staking program. **First the game; staking and PRIMA rewards come later.** The contract preserves claims for PRIMA actually credited, but no return, date or automatic funding is promised. A token must be operational and a positive accrued claim must exist before using the claim function. ## 9. What belongs to the game and what is external | Component | Relationship to HASH//DROIDS | | --- | --- | | Gen-1, HDROID vault/token, Titan/Reactor/Bazaar, Operator Pass, Phase III Nexus, Elements, Patents and their renderers/libraries | The game's own contracts and mechanics; see the canonical address list | | External `.ai` identity registry | An access dependency for identity eligibility; its KYC/uniqueness rules are external, not proved by the game alone | | Flap PRIMA curve at `0x1F54173ccAD7e42f20111bF592aF5826F331f2e2` | An **external optional integration**, not the Phase III element market, not the fleet Bazaar, and not a required step for current alchemy | **HDROID** is the Phase I/II token associated with fleet burning and buybacks. **PRIMA** is separate and intended for later rewards. The current game has no PRIMA-to-Entropy distillation, no HDROID-to-Entropy conversion and no automatic HDROID-to-PRIMA conversion. The 5% PRIMA reserve accumulates BNB; transferring that reserve does not itself buy PRIMA or distribute it to Crystal holders. Do not route a player's material purchase to Flap or another external contract merely because it appears in project configuration. The [agent workflow](../agent-skills/hashdroids/references/phase3.md) supplies exact read-before-write procedures, inventory checks and receipt reconciliation. The [source manifest](source-manifest.json) and [contract verification](verification.md) let an agent inspect the rules. No private recipe combinations or salts are provided in this guide.
